The 2025 expansion of Point Place Casino represents a significant reinvestment by the Oneida Indian Nation, transforming the Bridgeport property into a more complete gaming and hospitality destination while building upon the success of the original casino. The $50 million phased expansion doubled the size of the gaming floor, introduced the property’s first hotel, expanded dining and entertainment offerings, and enhanced the overall guest experience through new amenities and infrastructure.

Designed to complement the property’s existing lodge-inspired character, the expansion balances contemporary hospitality with the natural aesthetic that defines Point Place Casino. The project includes the new Forest Grill restaurant, a reimagined Fireside Lounge centered around a dramatic 360-degree wood-burning fireplace, an expanded Perfect Pour Café, new retail space, The Evergreen, a 1,500 square foot event venue, and additional parking to support increased visitation. Together, these additions create a destination that encourages guests to extend their stay while providing new gathering spaces for both visitors and the local community.

Completed in phases throughout 2025, the expansion allowed the casino to remain fully operational while construction progressed, minimizing disruption for guests and team members. The project added 400 new slot machines, bringing the property’s total to more than 900 slot machines and 26 table games, while the new 99-room hotel established Point Place Casino as a true stay-and-play destination.

As the largest reinvestment in Point Place Casino since its opening in 2018, the completed expansion reflects the Oneida Indian Nation’s continued commitment to strengthening tourism and economic growth in Central New York. By expanding gaming, hospitality, dining, and entertainment under one roof, the project positions Point Place Casino as a premier regional destination for years to come.
