Ultra Dairy Loading Dock Expansion

In 2019, we completed our sixth expansion of the Ultra Dairy processing and cooling facility since we first built it in 2004.

This included a 28,000 sf addition to the refrigerated section, growing from 9 to 14 shipping and receiving loading dock doors for cooling packaged product until shipping. We also built a 7,500 sf dry dock with two dock doors for storage of new product containers. Lastly, we built a small 2,200 sf addition onto the processing facility to house new owner-furnished equipment to meet the increased production requirements of the expansion. Site work included a parking lot expansion, which created an additional 123 parking spaces along with more space for shipping and receiving.

We completed the project two months ahead of schedule and approximately 8% under budget.
