SCOPE

With a rising need for cardiology services, we worked as the construction manager to create a phased schedule that allowed labs to come online, or open for patients, as they were completed. The master plan project started with two “fast-track” phases. The first phase, under design of King + King Architects, involved the build-out of a new electrophysiology lab and the renovation of an interventional radiology lab. The second phase built-out two additional labs under design of Dwyer Architectural and flowed into phase three which is the bulk of the Center’s footprint and ultimately connects to the two fast-track areas. After $32 million of investment and an aggressive 1.5 year combined pre-construction/construction timeline, the 45,000 square foot space includes 40 patient bays, six special procedure rooms, a new hybrid operating room, new state-of-the-art equipment, additional private consultation rooms and a new patient-tracking system.
