Medical/Surgical 3rd and 4th floor renovation at Oswego Hospital

SCOPE
In a phased renovation at Oswego Hospital, we transitioned 48 beds from semi-private to private rooms. In phase 1 we demolished the existing West Wing to make way for 12 new patient rooms per floor, as well as new charting areas, supply rooms, patient nutrition areas, staff locker/break rooms, and prayer/meditation rooms. Each room was designed with patients and staff in mind, providing a comfortable, home-like experience. All patient rooms are private with inclusive private bathrooms and showers and feature patient lifts to assist patients in and out of beds. In phase 2, renovations included additional room renovations, a family lounge, charting and nurse stations.
