SCOPE
As it stands today, the 1050 lot on West Genesee Street in Syracuse marks the physical transformation of VNA Homecare into Nascentia Health. The 47,000 square foot headquarters is highly energy efficient with layers or rigid spray foam insulation and an energy recovery unit that makes it easy to rapidly heat and cool the building. The floors are color coded and the whole facility was designed with a calming atmosphere in mind. The new building is more employee-centric with many breakout huddle rooms and shared common areas including a kitchen, break room, and gym. Phase 2 involved demolishing the old VNA building next door to make room for a courtyard and additional parking.
