Developer David Yaman, in partnership with California-based soil company Bio365, signed a lease to take on a vacant warehouse space in Cortland. We were hired to build an additional 30,000 square foot adjacent warehouse to provide more manufacturing space as well as offices and locker rooms. The warehouses will serve as dirt processing facilities to create nutrient-rich soil suitable for growing organic produce. Despite the challenge of winter weather and temporary site shutdown due to coronavirus safety precautions, we were able to complete the project on-time and within budget.
