For the 19th year in a row, The Hayner Hoyt Corporation has been named one of the Best Companies to Work for in New York State. This year, we proudly ranked as the #5 Best Medium-Sized Company, and members of our team traveled to Albany to celebrate the honor in person at the official awards ceremony.

A Program Built on Employee Feedback

The Best Companies to Work for in New York program is presented by the Best Companies Group, along with the New York State Society for Human Resource Management and BridgeTower Media/Rochester Business Journal. The research-driven program evaluates organizations across the state on workplace policies, practices, and benefits, and pairs that assessment with an employee survey measuring real workplace experience and satisfaction. Companies are ranked in three size categories: small, medium, and large employers.

Because so much of the ranking is shaped directly by what employees say about their own workplace, this recognition means something a little different than most industry awards. It’s not a reflection of what we say about ourselves. It’s a reflection of what our team says about us.

Celebrating Together in Albany

This year’s rankings were announced at the awards ceremony in Albany, where Hayner Hoyt team members were on hand to represent the company and celebrate alongside other honorees from across the state. Being able to send members of our team to the ceremony made the recognition feel even more like what it is: a shared achievement, not just a company headline.
