As Hayner Hoyt, we are proud to lead the charge alongside our joint venture partner, T. N. Ward, in the Turning Stone Evolution, a monumental $370 million expansion of the resort. This project marks a significant milestone, promising to transform the Turning Stone Resort Casino and will build upon its reputation as an unparalleled destination for luxury and entertainment.
Nestled in the heart of Central New York, Turning Stone has long been a cornerstone of Upstate New York’s hospitality industry. With this ambitious expansion, we aim to enhance the resort’s offerings, elevating its status as a premier destination for both locals and visitors from afar. This vision is brought to life through meticulous planning and innovative design, ensuring that every aspect of the resort reflects excellence and sophistication.
State-of-the-Art Amenities
The Crescent: The project includes a new luxurious hotel called The Crescent, with 258 guest rooms, including 23 suites. The hotel will feature an inviting lobby with a fireplace, and a quick-service café. Guests can also dine at Salt Seafood & Raw Bar, which has five private dining rooms and outdoor patios.
The Grand Expo: The new conference center will be 77,000 square feet, doubling the existing conference space. It will include eight new meeting rooms with outdoor patios, two new ballrooms, an outdoor courtyard with three event spaces, and a new parking garage with 1,600 spaces.

ECONOMIC IMPACT
According to Oxford Economics, one of the world’s foremost independent global advisory firms, the Turning Stone Evolution will result in a total capital expenditure of $370 million. The Oneida Indian Nation’s investment in the resort will also generate:
• A $616 million one-time economic impact
• 3,600 one-time jobs
• $22.1 million in state and local tax revenues
Tourism Impact
When complete, Turning Stone will be one of just three venues of similar size and caliber in New York State and the largest conference destination in Upstate New York.
These new and updated offerings will expand the resort’s reach to new industries, throughout the Northeast and across the country while ensuring it remains able to support all guests with the same standard of service for which Turning Stone has been recognized by leading travel industry authorities.
The resort’s expansion will elevate the profile of our region and make Turning Stone and Upstate New York even more desirable locations for larger, more prestigious events that today might choose other locations in the Northeast, including New York City, including city-wide events with such a large footprint that they span several event spaces and require accommodations at multiple hotels.
