Seven Oaks Golf Course at Colgate University

In life, and construction, sometimes it's best to start over.

We have a fun project underway at Colgate University. Working with C&H Architects, we just demolished the clubhouse at Seven Oaks Golf Course to make way for a new one. Stay tuned for construction progress.

November 9, 2021

Since demolition, we’ve started making a lot of progress at Colgate University's clubhouse at Seven Oaks Golf Course! Currently, we're finishing the forming and pouring of foundation walls and working on the interior footings, elevator foundation, and underslab utilities at the basement. The talented Doyner team will start concrete walls for the elevator shaft next week.

600 State Street

December 14, 2020

Did you know?

The textile industry boomed in Utica starting in the 1840s after mills converted to steam power which produced better products, faster and cheaper.

By the end of the 19th century, Utica was labeled the “knit goods capital of the world” with more than two dozen mills employing thousands of men and women. One of these mills was the Utica Steam Cotton Mill located at 600 State Street.

Fast forward 100 years or so, industries have changed, but the building still stands. Construction has begun to transition this 92,000 sf historic building into a mixed-use facility with residential units and commercial/retail space.

Currently, exterior masonry walls are going up and we're getting ready for steel and precast.

Project Sky

November 18, 2021

Project Sky, a massive 210,000 sq ft warehouse, has made a lot of progress since breaking ground. Currently, insulated metal panel installations, interior MEP rough ins, and roofing are underway. In the next few weeks the structural steel erection will come to completion.
Next, we will temporarily enclose the structure which will allow us to heat the inside so we can pour the foundation no matter what weather comes our way.
All hands on deck as Project Manager Jim Polakiewicz, Assistant Project Manager Justin Hayward, and Superintendent Brian Kiddle lead the charge.
