Hayner Hoyt has a longstanding tradition of promoting from within. With a history of excellence, we’re proud to announce two recent promotions.
Rick Howley is a knowledgeable and motivated construction professional with a wealth of experience in large-scale commercial, custom residential, and complex healthcare projects. He joined the company in February 2006 as a carpenter. From there he advanced to a supervisor in 2010, and most recently to project superintendent in 2017. Prior to joining Hayner Hoyt, he was president of his own custom homebuilding company, Richard Howley Homes, Inc.
Bill Nelson was hired as a summer intern in May 2011 and transitioned to a full time employee in May 2012 as a project engineer. By March 2016 he was promoted to assistant superintendent and this summer he advanced to a superintendent. Bill has an AS degree in residential construction, graduating with high honors from Morrisville State University and a BS degree in construction management from SUNY ESF. He holds the Associate Constructor designation and is a LEED Green Associate.
Rick and Bill, we’re fortunate to have you on board. Congratulations!
These paths to advancement are actually pretty common at Hayner Hoyt. We’re a company that prides itself on training and promoting the right people. This isn’t just a job, it’s a place to build a career. Many of our employees have been here for 10, 20, 30+ years. That’s almost unheard of these days. If you’re looking to learn and grow with the best in commercial construction, consider a career at Hayner Hoyt.
